The Almanac - Download Now
The Almanac is a record of the people and events that comprise the history of an organization, the National Student Employment Association (NSEA), since 1974.

Other Publications
  • Student Employment: Linking College and The Workplace Monograph
Published 1996 in cooperation with the National Center for the Freshman Year Experience (now out of print)
Editor-in-Chief, Rick Kincaid, Career Services, The College at Brockport, Brockport, New York

The Monograph explores “student employment as a hybrid, serving as a bridge between work and school, and ultimately, a link between school and full-time work. Student employment links elements of financial aid, career development, academic learning, experiential education, and personal development”. Access to the Monograph is graciously being offered to NSEA members only.

  • Through College on Nothing a Year
Published 1915, Charles Scribner's Sons, New York

Written by Christian Gauss, who was a faculty member at Princeton and became close to a student who was financing his education though a grueling combination of jobs in the years before World War I. During the 20's and 30's, Boy's Life magazine (the official magazine of the Boy Scouts) sold a library of publications, "the books every boy should read," and this was one of the selections.
